About The Position

Miro's Business Technology team is seeking a Head of Business Technology & AI Platform to lead a transformation towards a forward-deployed model. This role will own the operating systems that power Miro's go-to-market strategy and overall company operations. The leader will manage a combined engineering, product management, and program management organization, embedding squads directly within the functions they serve to proactively build and automate workflows in context. A key focus will be on making Miro an AI-first company by driving tooling, architecture, and platform decisions that enable rapid AI integration across all workflows. This is a high-autonomy leadership position focused on building from scratch and moving fast, with the potential to shape how over 1,800 employees work and how the GTM engine operates at scale.

Requirements

Technical depth and product sense, with the ability to make deep architecture decisions and frame them as product strategy.
Proven experience as a builder who has shipped systems that are highly regarded.
Experience running a forward-deployed or embedded engineering model, including placing engineers within business functions, maintaining quality without central gravity, and rotating teams without losing context.
Experience in change leadership at scale, guiding organizations through significant transformations (new tooling, processes, ways of working).
Experience leading organizations of 40-50+ people across engineering, product, and program management.
A bias toward action and the ability to make decisions with incomplete information.
Deep conviction that AI fundamentally changes internal systems design and operation.

Responsibilities

Lead the transformation to a forward-deployed engineering model, embedding squads within GTM and corporate functions.
Own the operating systems that power Miro's go-to-market strategy and company operations.
Lead a combined organization of 45 engineers, product managers, and program managers across GTM Systems & Technology and Company OS & Technology.
Drive tooling, architecture, and platform decisions for AI enablement, ensuring rapid AI integration into all workflows.
Oversee the full stack behind Sales & Success, Marketing Operations, and Revenue Architecture (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, data pipelines, in-house AI-powered GTM copilot).
Manage the internal operating system connecting Mironeers to necessary tools, agents, and knowledge (e.g., Claude-based agent platform, identity systems, enterprise tooling like Workday, Slack).
Ensure AI enablement at startup speed.
Foster a culture of building from scratch, moving fast, and high autonomy.
