About The Position
The Head JV Cheer Coach is responsible for leading the junior varsity cheerleading program. This includes coaching, teaching skills, ensuring good sportsmanship, and adhering to VHSL rules. The coach must be program-centered and work well with children. Previous competitive experience at the college, club, or professional level is preferred.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of the rules and skills in cheerleading.
- Program-centered approach.
- Specific skills in cheerleading.
- Exhibits good sportsmanship.
- Knowledge of VHSL rules.
- Works well with children.
- Submit a standard on-line application.
- Include two letters of reference.
- Include a recent TB test or screening.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of one year of coaching experience as an Assistant or Head Coach.
- Previously competed at the college level, club team or professional level.
