About The Position

Trinity Classical Academy seeks a versatile and seasoned coach to teach and mentor student athletes for our Varsity Cheer program in the Department of Athletics. Qualified candidates will be models in their lives and abilities for Varsity Cheer. Responsibilities

Teach/coach/train and disciple student athletes
Organize and supervise the Varsity Cheer program
Assists the Director of Athletes in scheduling activities, utilization of Cheer budgets and overseeing travel arrangements
Conducts Cheer Clinics for the school
Preforms preseason, regular season, tournaments and post season activities.
Participates in organizing and conducting a summer varsity cheer program
Handles inventory, maintains all equipment and complies related statistics as required by the department and/or governing bodies for our athletic programs. (NFHS, CIF, etc.)
Trains and evaluates assistant coaches and cheer participants.
Serves as liaison person in relating the school’s cheer program to the staff, administration, general public, and local news media
Serves as a trainer during practice sessions and away games
Coordinates the overall practice schedule for the program
Maintains professional growth through attendance of coaching clinics and conferences
Performs other tasks and assumes other responsibilities as the principal or Head of School may assign
