About The Position

Jenks Public Schools is seeking a Head Coach for Middle School Tennis. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of the sport, demonstrate effective leadership, and serve as a positive role model for student athletes.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Extensive knowledge, skills, and ability in the strategy and technology of the sport.
• Experience interacting with student athletes, parents, and assistant coaches through deliberate positive interactions.
• Ability to serve as an effective role model for student athletes and represent Jenks Public Schools with integrity and respect.
• Satisfy all district requirements with regard to physical health and citizenship.

Nice To Haves

• Previous success in assigned coaching position preferred.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the middle school tennis program.
• Develop and implement effective coaching strategies.
• Interact positively with student athletes, parents, and assistant coaches.
• Serve as an effective role model for student athletes.
• Represent Jenks Public Schools with integrity and respect.
