About The Position

Iona University seeks applications for the position of Head Club Mens Basketball Coach. Reporting to the Director of Club Sports. The Head Club Mens Basketball Coach is responsible for all aspects of the club program as well as being committed to the academic mission of the College. The Head Club Mens Basketball Coach teaches the sport of basketball to student-athletes, and provides for coaching, recruitment, and retention of basketball players.

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor's degree.
• Background in the sport of basketball.
• Must grasp the current mens basketball strategies and techniques.
• Possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Be knowledgeable of, and abide by, all College and campus policies, league policies, campus recreational policies, and conference/league requirements.
• Plan, organize, and lead the operations for the club sports program including coaching, fundraising, budgeting, and travel arrangements.
• Travel with and supervise team at home and away games to ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
