About The Position

The University of Denver is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Club Women's Basketball Coach to lead our Club Women's Basketball team for the 2026-2027 season. This position requires an experienced coach with a strong background in climbing. The ideal candidate will foster a supportive, disciplined, and motivating environment to help student-athletes reach their full potential. This is a non-benefited position not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year.

Requirements

  • First Aid/CPR/AED Certification (able to be acquired within first 30 days of employment)
  • CDC Heads Up Concussion Training Certification (able to be acquired within first 30 days of employment)

Responsibilities

  • Assist head coach with practice implementation and training of athletes
  • Travel to away games, two weekly practices and weekends for games.
  • Plan and execute effective and productive practices and game plans.
  • Promote Positive team culture and encourage sportsmanship, discipline, and accountability among club members.
  • Maintain effective communication with the Club Sports Manager and other relevant university staff.
  • Submit bi-weekly timesheets to comply with university policies
