This position is for the 2026-2027 season at Harbour Pointe Middle School, running from November 4, 2026, through January 13, 2027. The successful candidate will lead the 8th-grade volleyball program, conduct tryouts, and plan practices and meets. The role involves working with players and their families to foster a love of the sport, good sportsmanship, volleyball skills, and camaraderie. Stipends are contingent upon the Mukilteo School District approving extra-curricular activities for the 26-27 school year, as well as the length of the season and the number of teams offered. The Head Coach works under the supervision of the Athletic Director, aligning with the District and Building’s mission and vision. The role focuses on the growth and development of student athletes through fundamental skills instruction, emphasizing whole-child development, academic and athletic excellence, leadership skills, and positive social relationships. The Head Coach is responsible for maintaining open communication with students, parents, coaches, and administrators, and serves as a role model in personal management, appearance, ethics, behavior, and sportsmanship. The primary responsibility is to guide, inspire, and empower athletes or teams to achieve their full potential.
