About The Position

This role involves operating construction equipment, specifically a horizontal directional boring rig and locating equipment. Most duties are completed outdoors year-round, and they are also performed in confined spaces. When drilling is completed or not available, the candidate must be able to assist crew members in placing underground pipes and conduits, perform manual labor and shovel work, and operate power tools. The candidate will also be responsible for restoring the job site to its original condition, notifying the construction manager of unanticipated field changes and suggesting alternatives, and complying with all company policies, regulatory safety regulations, and code requirements. The candidate must also meet established company standards of appearance and demeanor.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have own transportation.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Ability to occasionally lift 100+ lbs.
• Possess good written and oral skills in English.
