About The Position

Provide in-home caregiving for clients in and around Seattle’s Eastside, including Seattle, Magnolia, Capitol Hill, Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Sammamish, Issaquah, Mercer Island, Bothell, and Woodinville. Daytime shifts are available and generally range from four to six hours, Monday through Sunday. The role may include taking clients to medical appointments, running errands, and accompanying them into the community. Caregivers may work stacked four-to-five-hour daytime shifts, with opportunities for additional hours.

Requirements

• Be an HCA or CNA student pending state exams, or have passed state exams.
• Hold an active Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Care Aide (HCA) license.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Be comfortable working four-to-five-hour stacked daytime shifts.
• Be comfortable taking clients to doctor appointments, running errands, and accompanying them into the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, conversation, and activities.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and light exercise.
• Prepare meals.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Support personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Provide transportation, including transportation to appointments, errands, and community activities.
