About The Position

Military Veterans and National Guard Reservists are encouraged to apply! This position involves operating a Sulphur Truck and Trailer, handling Moten Sulphur, and supporting zero tolerance safety objectives. The role requires adherence to all FMCSA/Company rules and regulations, completion of daily paperwork, and maintaining company objectives. The driver will work a 2nd Shift (2:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.), including weekends, and may be required to work overtime, nights, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements
• Minimum of 6 months experience on both tanker and hazmat endorsements.
• Experience in tractor/trailers specific to tankers with Haz-Mat
• Proven ability to focus on details, follow work rules, and adhere to work schedules.
• Experience with OSHA guidelines, policies, and procedures
• Excellent communication skills – both oral and written
• Ability to work a tablet and a computer
• Must be able to multitask and set priorities
• Ability to manage confidential issues

Nice To Haves

• Ability to learn the loading and unloading procedures for all customers

Responsibilities

• Follow proper safety rules and operating procedures to support zero tolerance safety objectives
• Operate truck and tanker safely at all times within the refinery, customer, and public roads.
• Follow all FMCSA/Company rules and regulations
• Complete and maintain required daily paperwork
• Housekeeping duties with the truck and trailer.
• Assist Maintenance personnel, as needed and directed
• Maintain company objectives and expectations in the absence of the Facility Manager and Operations Manager.
• Willingness to work weekends, nights, holidays, and overtime as required to maintain safe and efficient operations.
