About The Position

Fiberglass Coatings, LLC (FGCI), a leading distributor and manufacturer of composite materials, is looking for a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver with a HazMat endorsement to join our team. If you're looking for a driving position that allows you to stay local and be home every night, this could be a great fit. Our drivers make deliveries to commercial customers throughout Florida while providing the reliable, professional service our customers expect.

Requirements

• Clean Class A Drivers’ License.
• Hazmat Endorsement required.
• One year's experience transporting hazardous materials required
• Ability to sit/stand/walk for 8 hours and lift heavy objects.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 – 75 pounds.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug test.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Complete all deliveries as scheduled for the assigned area in a timely manner.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck.
• Inspect truck before and after trip.
• Properly track and document activity log.
• Maintains and ensures truck is clean and maintained.
• Immediately report issues or incidents.
• Abide by local and state laws.
• Adhere to safety rules, traffic laws and all company policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
