Under the supervision of the Associate Director, Environmental Health and Safety, manages a comprehensive program for the safe, efficient and cost-effective disposal of all University hazardous waste. Trains and supervises the technicians and office staff in the collection, transport, processing and disposal of waste. Ensures that legal requirements for hazardous waste and safety are met by staff and users of the program. Is responsible for the department budget. Prepares budget requests and monthly forecasts.
