About The Position

Responsible for providing support services and assistance in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness by ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for guests, patients, or occupants. This role does not involve direct patient care. The Hazardous Waste Handler will perform routine cleaning tasks, manage linen supplies, properly dispose of trash, recyclables, and hazardous materials, and restock necessary supplies and amenities. Accurate record-keeping of cleaning activities is also a key function.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
Customer Service Experience 1-2 years preferred or Housekeeping Experience 0-1 year preferred
Familiarity with different cleaning techniques, equipment, and products.
Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and maintenance of the assigned areas.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
Customer service skills to ensure guest/patient satisfaction.
Ability to follow instructions and work well with others.
Trustworthiness and a strong work ethic to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

Responsibilities

Performing routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
Handling and maintaining linen supplies, including changing bed linens, replenishing towels and toiletries, and collecting and sorting soiled linens for laundry services.
Properly disposing of trash, recyclables, and hazardous materials according to established procedures and regulations.
Monitoring and restocking supplies and amenities such as toiletries, towels, cleaning products, and other necessary items.
Maintaining accurate records of cleaning activities, including daily cleaning logs, room occupancy status, and maintenance.
