About The Position

Titan Florida, Inc. has an opening for a Haul Truck Driver for the Estero, FL aggregates plant. This wage non-exempt position is assigned to the Corkscrew Mine and will report directly to the Supervisor.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of site development and limestone crushing practices.
Basic knowledge of equipment operation, specifically off-road, articulated haul trucks.
Maintain a current Florida Driver’s License and a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
Ability to work well with others and take care of your equipment.
Capable of working in confined spaces.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Able to walk, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear.
Safety-minded.
Must be able to speak, read, and write English.

Responsibilities

Perform a pre-shift inspection on equipment.
Fill out all required documentation and submit it daily.
Drive an automatic transmission, Diesel-powered haul truck to/from the dragline pile.
Be capable of utilizing mirrors to back up a 45-ton class articulated haul truck.
Haul limestone to surge pile as main activity, stockpile materials as required.
Respectfully communicate with the excavator operator, plant operator, and supervision.
Maintain equipment in a clean and safe manner.
Report all safety concerns.
Perform utility tasks such as shoveling, water hosing, and others when the haul fleet is down and as required.
Perform safety inspections and actively participate in the safety meetings.
Perform preventive maintenance on the equipment as required, including washing, cleaning, and checking for PM intervals.
Perform safety checks and follow all required safety rules and regulations (company & MSHA).
