About The Position

ASCO Equipment is seeking Haul Truck Drivers for career opportunities in their Bryan, Texas branch. The primary responsibility of this role is to safely load and unload heavy machinery at both the ASCO yard and customer locations. Drivers must properly secure all loads before transport and ensure that check-in/check-out sheets are accurately completed. The Haul Truck Driver is expected to safely transport heavy equipment, provide exceptional customer service, and coordinate with internal teams to fulfill the branch's hauling requirements.

Requirements

• Exercise excellent customer service skills
• Must have a Class A CDL & Valid Medical Card
• Certification on Aerial and Forklift handling/operation
• Full DOT knowledge to legally manage hours of service and ELOG
• Ability to maintain and service haul truck and trailer
• DOT knowledge of legal limits
• Must possess a clean driving record and be insurable

Responsibilities

• Safely load/off-load heavy equipment
• Properly secure loads, with ratchet straps, chains, binders and winch
• Safely climb on/off equipment and tractor/trailer multiple times a day
• Effective time management skills to stay on track for deliveries/pick-up
• Utilize safe driving techniques at all times
• Legibly complete equipment inspection reports upon delivery/pickup of equipment
• Maintain daily records of pre-trip/post trip inspection of vehicle & accurate log books
• Coordinate with dispatcher and customer to collect and verify delivery/pickup locations
