About The Position

Black Hills Trucking is hiring a full-time, on-site Haul Driver in Williston, North Dakota. The company provides oilfield services and heavy hauling and emphasizes safe, efficient work and a supportive team environment. The driver will operate trucks and/or equipment as dispatched, perform basic maintenance and emergency roadside repairs, maintain required records, follow applicable regulations and company procedures, and remain alert to hydrogen sulfide (H2S) hazards. Periodic work from a terminal other than the base location may be required for special assignments.

Requirements

Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with all endorsements and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Obtain acceptable results on a DOT physical.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be fluent in English, verbally and in writing.
Obtain acceptable results on a pre-employment background check, credit check, and drug/alcohol test.

Responsibilities

Drive trucks and/or equipment safely and carefully as dispatched, including to outlying locations.
Perform basic maintenance, including replacing hoses, fittings, and couplings.
Perform miscellaneous emergency roadside equipment repairs, such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, and making acceptable temporary repairs.
Comply with applicable DOT, OSHA, and other federal, state, and local rules and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Report compliance problems to a supervisor.
Maintain daily written vehicle and personal records as required.
Remain alert to potential hazardous concentrations of hydrogen sulfide (H2S), understand its dangers and ramifications, and carry an H2S training card at all times.
Periodically work from a location other than the base terminal for special assignments, if required.
