Requirements

College degree or equivalent work experience in related field
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Good organizational and time management skills
Must adhere to Foster Farms disease control policies.
Ability to operate automation equipment safely and efficiently.
Ability to keep regular attendance and work shifts as scheduled
Must be able to submit and pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

at least 1 year of equivalent experience preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
Ability to work weekend and graveyard shifts and most holidays.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with manager in meeting department goals and standards on quality, yield, productivity, safety, and costs.
Supervise production up to 200,000 chicks daily.
Establish and maintain labor efficiencies.
Provide safety training for all employees, perform safety inspections and audits monthly.
Assist with controlling inventory of chemicals and supplies.
Responsible for the supervision, development and training of Team members.
Management of Team members timecards and working schedules.
Execute and expand hatchery programs, procedures and safety standards in regard to sanitation, Inovo injection, equipment operation, animal welfare etc.
Assist with monitoring programs including evaluating chick quality, cleanliness, and various biological aspects.
