Temperanceville Plant -Harvest Room Labor 2nd Shift
About The Position
This position is responsible for entry-level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position could work in any area of the Fresh Processing including the DSI, Debone, Deli lines, and Evisceration. Requirements
- Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.
- Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods.
- Hourly Applicants ONLY -You must complete the task after submitting your application to provide additional information to be considered for employment.
- The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Be able to push, pull, carry, and/or lift up to 50 pounds for some positions.
- Must be willing to work in damp, cold, or hot environments, and reach above shoulder level.
- Be able to stand 8- 10 hours a day on hard surfaces.
- Able to perform repetitive motion.
- Must be able to climb up and down stairs to get to and from the work areas.
- Must wear PPE, frocks, gloves, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard.
- These positions may involve use of a knife and or scissors to bone out or trim pieces of product or involve the use of powered equipment such as saws or skinner machines.
