About The Position

Stefanini Group is hiring! Stefanini is looking for a Harvest Processing Technician in Seward, NE 68434. This role supports operations activities for the Nebraska soybean breeding program. These are temporary, entry-level positions for day shift only. Most activities are done with a team of technicians under the supervision of CLIENT full-time employees. The hiring manager is flexible with a start date of Sept 14th and end date of Dec 4th, but the bulk of the work will be in October and November. There is NO laboratory component to this role.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull 50 lbs.
• Basic computing skills in order to use Microsoft Office applications.

Nice To Haves

• Agronomy, horticulture, biology, and/or crop experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Harvest preparation.
• Data collection using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Hand harvest of soybean.
• Machine and single head threshing.
• Seed processing.
• Seed inventory data collection and entry in Microsoft Word.
