The Harm Reduction Program Coordinator plans, develops, coordinates, and evaluates Clallam County's Harm Reduction Programs, including the Harm Reduction Health Center and Overdose Prevention and Response initiatives. This position oversees program implementation, grant compliance, policy development, and contract administration while ensuring services are evidence-based, effective, and aligned with public health priorities. The coordinator collaborates with healthcare providers, community organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders to strengthen partnerships, expand harm reduction services, and improve community health outcomes. In addition to program leadership, the position provides direct operational support as a Harm Reduction Specialist when needed, assists with grant development and budget planning, analyzes program data, develops policies and procedures, and represents the department through public presentations, advisory committees, and regional collaborations. This position exercises considerable independent judgment and serves as a key resource for advancing harm reduction strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting organizational goals.
