About The Position
We are a Large Corporate Industry Leader in Building Supplies Employing over 800 Friendly People on Long Island, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. For compliance purposes for NYS transparency, the expected salary range is $18.00-$21.00. Compensation will be based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Requirements
- Hardware Knowledge
- Experience in computer programs and RF guns for ordering and inventory management preferred.
Responsibilities
- Advising customers on tools, hardware, and materials needed, and procedure to follow to complete task customer wishes to perform.
- Informing customers about quality of tools, hardware, equipment, and demonstrates use.
- Preparing sales orders.
- Basic counter transactions, receiving payment including credit authorization, displaying merchandise, tracking inventory, requisitions merchandise, special orders, and stock.
