About The Position

As a Test Engineer II at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, you will support production, customer service, and developmental programs by maintaining, troubleshooting, improving, and expanding test equipment and test stations. You will use hands-on problem-solving and collaborate with engineering and production teams to keep critical test operations reliable. The role supports both hardware and software engineering and projects involving aerospace navigation, inertial sensing, and hardware systems. The position works closely with production, customer service, software, and engineering personnel to maintain test readiness and minimize interruptions to critical operations. It may involve hands-on work with electronic equipment, test stations, simulators, and related production systems. U.S. citizenship is required due to contractual requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience troubleshooting production test equipment, test stations, simulators, or related electronic systems.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop practical, reliable solutions.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams and communicating technical information clearly to engineers and technicians.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple support requests, and follow issues through to resolution.

  • Restore and maintain legacy simulators to provide reliable production backup and eliminate single points of failure.
  • Coordinate with engineering to protect development activities when production equipment requires support.
  • Support the Customer Service Center by ensuring test equipment functions properly and answering questions about correct testing methods for Return Goods (RGs).
  • Support developmental programs and collaborate with the PR Software Team to troubleshoot issues, develop solutions, and implement fixes.
  • Upgrade test stations to newer Windows versions.
  • Troubleshoot units, test stations, and rate tables in response to production and engineering support needs.
  • Assist with calibration tracking and develop processes that improve equipment visibility, readiness, and long-term maintainability.
