About The Position
Carlton Fields is seeking a Hardware Support Technician for its Miami office. This role involves installing and configuring computer and phone equipment, managing video conferencing, performing hardware and software diagnostics, repairs, and upgrades. The technician will also assist with administrative tasks such as physical inventory and software license compliance.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1-2 years hardware field service experience, technical phone support or equivalent
- Thorough knowledge of hardware products and software capabilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be self-motivated and self-directed
- Must be willing to answer calls after normal working hours as part of an on-call rotation
Responsibilities
- Install and configure computer & phone equipment, including site preparation
- Manage video conferencing
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, upgrades and ongoing support for hardware
- Perform diagnostics, repair and ongoing support for software in a Windows 11 environment
- Assist in managing administrative tasks such as physical inventory of hardware and software license compliance
