About The Position

In this role you will get to use your expertise in mission/software assurance, system architecture, and interface design. The selected candidate will ensure the reliability, security, and quality of hardware/software systems, contribute to architectural decisions, and design robust interfaces for seamless integration across the Missile Defense System (MDS) Elements.

Requirements

• Master's degree in relevant STEM field and at least 12 years of related professional experience.
• Extensive experience in hardware/software engineering processes.
• Extensive experience in hardware/software assurance processes.
• Experience evaluating objective evidence for hardware/software engineering design reviews.
• Professional communications and organization skills.
• Active Secret clearance

Nice To Haves

• MDA experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Agile Engineering Design preferred.
• Knowledge of Digital Engineering Principals preferred.
• Knowledge of the Missile Defense System elements, products, and capabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in hardware/software engineering activities to include mission/software assurance, code reviews, static analysis, testing, and engineering reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Advise MDS Element programs on software architectures that are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to software quality, security, and performance.
• Ensure hardware/software engineering/assurance processes are acceptable and reports are assessed.
• Deliver technical guidance for evaluating objective evidence during hardware/software engineering reviews.
