About The Position
This position requires the ability to learn and perform duties of other entry-level positions within the department to meet periodic job rotation requirements. The role involves entering standard weights into a computer, stacking boxes on pallets according to packaging procedures, completing pallet tickets, and running stop placards. The individual will also assist the Quality Auditor as needed and is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, ensuring the correct boxes are placed on pallets, and performing any other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to compare numbers to a given standard.
- Ability to identify and enter correct data into a computer.
Responsibilities
- Enter standard (tare) weights in computer.
- Stack boxes on pallets per packaging procedures.
- Complete pallet tickets and run stop placards.
- Assist Quality Auditor as necessary.
- Responsible for keeping work area clean and organized.
- Ensure correct boxes are on pallet.
- Any other duties as assigned.
