About The Position

The General Utility- Palletizer sets up and operates the line and taper, prepares and closes boxes, and stacks taped boxes according to the product’s stacking pattern. The role checks that the proper code date has been applied, assists with the removal of rework, and follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and applicable safety procedures. The employee also reports unusual activities and unsafe conditions to management promptly and performs other duties as assigned to maintain department operations.

Requirements

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Follow applicable safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws.
• Use protective equipment as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Properly turn the taper on and off and set up the line.
• Fold and shape boxes and place an inner liner in each box.
• Close boxes and feed them into the taper.
• Stack taped boxes according to the product’s stacking pattern.
• Check that the proper code date has been applied.
• Assist with the removal of rework.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Report unusual activities in or around the plant to management as soon as possible.
• Work safely and report unsafe conditions to management as soon as possible.
• Understand and put appropriate safety procedures into practice through education, training, use of protective equipment as applicable, and compliance with safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned to maintain department operations.
