Delta Faucet Company has an opportunity for a Hardware Engineering Co-op to join our Connected Water Team to help deliver the next generation of product features and technology to our customers. In this role, you will support the development of new digital products through hands-on work with embedded systems and real product hardware. You will spend most of your days in the lab doing hands-on and varied tasks: soldering and reworking assemblies, programming and bringing up circuit boards, running electrical and functional tests, laying out PCBs, and keeping our engineering lab and its equipment running as smoothly as possible. You will report to the engineering manager and sit with the project teams, not apart from them. Within your first few weeks you will be assigned specific tasks, projects, and test processes to own — meaning you make the calls there, you document how it works, and you are the person others ask about it. When you find a better way to do something, we want to hear it, and we will give you a straight answer either way. Every part of the role is scoped so that the skills you leave with — test methodology, debugging discipline, documentation, lab ownership — are the ones that help you with the rest of your college work and prepare you for your future career.
