Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 7+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience .
Experience in hardware design, including system/board design for networking and compute applications
Experience in designing of x86/Micro controllers cards and familiar with bus technologies include I2C/SPI/PCI-ex upto Gen-5

Nice To Haves

Experience optimizing hardware for cost, performance, and power efficiency.
Technical proficiency in hardware validation, testing, and signal integrity methodologies.
Familiarity with industry-standard hardware automation tools and testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of medium-to-complex hardware features to ensure high-performance product integration.
Drive the hardware specification and design review process to maintain alignment with Cisco’s quality standards and industry best practices.
Develop innovative testing rules and strategies to improve product reliability and performance across the hardware portfolio.
Mentor junior team members through technical guidance and code reviews to foster a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
Collaborate cross-functionally with system designers and diagnostics engineers to proactively resolve complex installation and configuration challenges, ensuring seamless product deployment.
