Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 7+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience .
  • Experience in hardware design, including system/board design for networking and compute applications
  • Experience in designing of x86/Micro controllers cards and familiar with bus technologies include I2C/SPI/PCI-ex upto Gen-5

Nice To Haves

  • Experience optimizing hardware for cost, performance, and power efficiency.
  • Technical proficiency in hardware validation, testing, and signal integrity methodologies.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard hardware automation tools and testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of medium-to-complex hardware features to ensure high-performance product integration.
  • Drive the hardware specification and design review process to maintain alignment with Cisco’s quality standards and industry best practices.
  • Develop innovative testing rules and strategies to improve product reliability and performance across the hardware portfolio.
  • Mentor junior team members through technical guidance and code reviews to foster a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with system designers and diagnostics engineers to proactively resolve complex installation and configuration challenges, ensuring seamless product deployment.
