About The Position

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems has an opportunity in Valley Forge, PA for a hardware engineer, supporting RMS EMC2 programs in Valley Forge, PA. As a Hardware Engineer supporting RMS EMC2, located in Valley Forge, PA, you will be analyzing customer requirements (power, cooling, environment, storage, and transportation). You will develop Bills of Material, generate COTS modification and assembly drawings. You will coordinate material purchases with the procurement department and approve vendor quotes. You will support hardware assembly tasks. You will coordinate with vendors to repair or replace defective or damaged equipment, identify and document modifications. You will coordinate and support equipment installation at test and customer facilities and provide customer support to help them resolve problems. This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. You will collaborate with a diverse team of technical professionals including software and systems engineers, architects, and our project engineering team on the EMC2 programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or in a related discipline from an accredited University
  • Strong attention to detail and must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment
  • Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access
