  • 8+ years of experience in hardware engineering, with a focus on one or more of the following: electrical systems design, signal integrity/power integrity, ESD design or memory subsystems.
  • 3+ years of people management experience leading hardware engineering teams. Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional engineering programs from concept through mass production.
  • Strong understanding of high-speed digital design, PCB design principles, and signal integrity fundamentals.
  • Experience with memory technologies (LPDDR, NAND, or equivalent) and memory subsystem design.
  • Familiarity with ESD design standards and ESD protection strategies for consumer electronics.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams spanning simulation, design, and validation functions.
  • Hands-on experience with SI/PI simulation tools (e.g., HyperLynx, Sigrity, Ansys, or equivalent).
  • Experience with ESD design simulations.
  • Experience with memory supplier qualification processes and JEDEC compliance.
  • Track record of building and scaling engineering teams in a fast-paced product development environment.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to present technical content to senior leadership.
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers (CMs) and ODMs in a low-engagement or in-region model.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of specialized hardware engineers across multiple disciplines including Signal Integrity, ESD and Memory fostering a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Own the engineering roadmap and execution across multiple functions for subsystem development in support of Amazon device programs.
