About The Position

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Hardscape Laborer to assist with residential and commercial hardscape installations. This is a hands-on, physical role supporting the crew with all phases of hardscape Installation. The ideal candidate is reliable, willing to learn, and takes pride in quality workmanship.

Requirements

  • Prior hardscape or landscape construction experience preferred
  • Willingness to learn hardscape installation techniques
  • Skid steer and mini excavator experience a plus
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction
  • Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
  • Valid Utah driver’s license (preferred)
  • Ability to pass a drug screening (required)
  • Must be able to communicate in English (preferred)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
  • Ability to perform repetitive physical labor
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Standing, kneeling, bending, and walking for extended periods

Nice To Haves

  • Skid steer and mini excavator experience
  • Valid Utah driver’s license
  • Must be able to communicate in English
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Assist crew lead with hardscape installation projects, including: Assisting with planting of trees, shrubs, perennials, and groundcover, Supporting site layout, grading, and soil preparation, Assisting with installation of sod, seed, and erosion control materials, Properly handling, placing, and spacing plant material as directed, Assisting with mulching, edging, and final site detailing, Installing landscape materials such as landscape fabric, drainage components, and irrigation elements (as applicable), Following instructions from the Team Lead and coordinating daily tasks to maintain workflow efficiency, Maintaining a clean, safe jobsite and meeting project timelines
  • Assist with operating equipment such as: Skid steers, mini excavators, trenchers (experience preferred, not required)
  • Load, unload, and stage materials and tools on job sites
  • Perform general labor duties including digging, lifting, hauling, and clean-up
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
  • Follow instructions from crew leaders and supervisors
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures
