About The Position
Landscape Management Group (LMG) is seeking a Hardscape Laborer / Skilled Trades professional for their Central Ohio location. This role offers a clear career path through the LMG SkillTrack system, which rewards employees for learning construction skills, operating equipment safely, producing quality work, and demonstrating reliability. The company builds complete outdoor-living spaces, including pools, patios, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, concrete work, decks, fences, pergolas, and related structures, as well as drainage, grading, excavation, landscape installation, lighting, and irrigation systems. LMG is interested in experienced tradespeople, equipment operators, and hardworking entry-level candidates who are eager to learn. Opportunities exist to operate or train on company trucks, trailers, skid steers, compact track loaders, mini-excavators, saws, compactors, and specialty construction tools. Employees are certified as they prove safe and correct usage of tools and equipment. The career path ranges from Laborer to Company Leadership, with potential for bonuses for Foremen based on crew performance.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to show up on time and ready to work
- Ability to handle physical outdoor construction work
- Willingness to work with urgency without sacrificing quality
- Ability to follow instructions and safety standards

Responsibilities
- Perform hardscape labor and skilled trade tasks.
- Operate or train on company trucks, trailers, skid steers, compact track loaders, mini-excavators, saws, compactors, and specialty construction tools.
- Learn construction skills and operate equipment safely and correctly.
- Produce quality work.
- Follow instructions and safety standards.
- Take care of trucks, tools, equipment, and customer property.
- Work with urgency without sacrificing quality.
- Take ownership and avoid making excuses.
