Our projects include: Fiberglass and Biodesign pools, Paver patios and walkways, Retaining walls and outdoor kitchens, Poured and stamped concrete, Wood and composite decks, Fencing, pergolas, pavilions, and outdoor structures, Drainage, grading, and excavation, Landscape installation, lighting, irrigation, and specialty systems. A Foreman does not need to know how to build everything on day one, but you must understand how to read plans, plan daily work, use equipment, and guide your crew to execute quality work safely. At LMG, the Foreman role is a distinct leadership path with clear expectations.
Requirements
- Have a valid driver's license and can safely drive and back up a truck and trailer
- Possess strong outdoor construction experience (hardscaping, concrete, carpentry, excavation, or general construction)
- Can read plans, measurements, and project details
- Lead by setting a positive example, holding crew members accountable, and treating people with respect
- Identify problems early and communicate with Project Managers before delays or mistakes happen
- Safely operate equipment (skid steers, track loaders, mini-excavators)
- Take full ownership of your crew's daily output and jobsite safety
Responsibilities
- Setting daily production goals, organizing tools/materials, and running the schedule.
- Assigning tasks, giving clear instructions, keeping people working efficiently, and developing less-experienced laborers.
- Catching errors early, avoiding preventable rework, and protecting customer property.
- Keeping Project Managers informed, completing daily logs/photos, and handling field interactions with customers professionally.
