About The Position
S.A. Comunale is seeking a Hanger to support its Fabrication Shop. The Hanger creates hangers used to suspend pipe for the company’s projects. The work must be completed accurately and in a timely manner, with attention to small details and intricate designs. The role requires the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, multitasked environment focused on detail and accuracy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to perform the essential duties satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
Nice To Haves
- Technical or trade school training.
- Experience working in a fabrication shop or factory setting.
Responsibilities
- Pick materials needed to complete each project.
- Read and interpret blueprints or sketches to measure and cut rod accordingly.
- Assemble pipe hangers efficiently and accurately.
- Bag, bundle, and band materials as directed.
- Input information into a computer.
- Interpret information already in the computer.
