About The Position

S.A. Comunale is seeking a Hanger to support its Fabrication Shop. The Hanger creates hangers used to suspend pipe for the company’s projects. The work must be completed in a timely and accurate manner and involves small details and intricate designs. The role requires the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, multitasked environment with a focus on detail and accuracy.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasked environment with attention to detail and accuracy.

Nice To Haves

• Technical or trade school training.
• Experience working in a fabrication shop or factory setting.

Responsibilities

• Pick materials needed to complete each project.
• Read and interpret blueprints or sketches to measure and cut rod accordingly.
• Assemble pipe hangers efficiently and accurately.
• Bag, bundle, and band materials as directed.
• Input information into a computer.
• Interpret information already in the computer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
