About The Position
This staff member will hang, tag, and price the textiles. They will also assist with the security and safety of store property, demonstrate professionalism and a friendly, cooperative attitude towards customers, donors, and co-workers. The role requires the ability to multi-task, make quick decisions, and work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. Punctuality and dependable attendance are essential. The staff member must conduct work in a safe manner, maintain good housekeeping standards, keep aisles and pathways to fire extinguishers and exits clear from clutter, and take trash out to the container. Promoting friendly and helpful customer service and donor care, and following all policies and procedures are key responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned by the Manager.
Requirements
- Ability to multi-task, make quick decisions and work in a team oriented, fast paced environment.
- Must be punctual and have dependable attendance.
- Demonstrate professionalism and presents a friendly, cooperative attitude towards customers, donors, and co-workers.
Responsibilities
- Hang textiles using the correct hanger for the merchandise.
- Tag and price each piece using the Good, Better, Best pricing system.
- Keep a well-maintained and clean work area.
- Assist donors as they arrive.
- Maintain accurate records of donations and issue completed donation receipts to all donors.
- Assist with the security and the safety of store property.
- Promote friendly and helpful customer service and donor care.
- Follow all policies and procedures.
- Take trash out to trash container.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards, have all aisles and pathways to fire extinguishers, and exits clear from clutter.
- Conduct work in a safe manner.
