About The Position

Handyman Connection of Moon Township is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals who take pride in their work. This is a W-2 hourly employee position offering flexible scheduling, competitive pay based on skill level, and a team environment where good work is recognized and rewarded. The role involves a variety of tasks, from independent repairs and improvements to assisting on larger projects like remodels and exterior work. Responsibilities also include smaller handyman tasks, material runs, and site preparation. We value flexibility, coachability, and a sense of ownership in all tasks.

Requirements

Clear communication with the office team, other craftspeople, and customers
Pride in your work; doing the task right
Problem-solving skills; figuring out solutions when issues arise
Comfort with physical work, including working at heights when needed
General handyman / home repair knowledge
Drywall skills (patching, finishing, carrying, installing)
Carpentry and trim work experience
Painting experience (interior and exterior)
Tile and flooring installation experience
Light plumbing and electrical knowledge
Exterior work experience (siding, soffit, fascia, caulking, shutters)
Experience with bathroom and kitchen remodel assistance
Deck building and outdoor structures experience

Responsibilities

Working independently on a job site completing repairs or improvements
Assisting a senior craftsperson on larger projects like kitchen or bathroom remodels, deck builds, or exterior work
Running for materials or helping prep a job site
Handling smaller handyman tasks such as securing shutters, caulking windows, hanging shelves, patching drywall, and similar work
Interacting directly with customers on site
