About The Position

This position is located in Eastover, South Carolina. There is one position available which will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidates' education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. The employee will be responsible for: Issuing and receiving materials for the plant via the computer system. Position will manage inventory, Issue and receive goods Purchase and acquire materials within prescribed limits Handle safety equipment. This position provides assistance to corporate accounting, supply chain management, material management and all other storerooms throughout the company.

Requirements

• Strong computer skills with solid knowledge of Microsoft applications and keyboard proficiency with a minimum of 20 WPM.
• Heavy lifting (minimum 50 lbs.).
• Standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to climb stairs to the top of tall structures.
• Must be in good physical condition.
• Mechanically and electrically inclined.
• Good communications and human relations skills.
• Demonstrated attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Availability for scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
• Must respond to call outs in support of plant Operations and Maintenance.
• Completion of high school or equivalent (i.e., GED) is required.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving history.
• Ability to obtain a CDL with Hazmat classification.

Nice To Haves

• Previous storeroom, warehouse, materials management or plant operations experience is preferred.
• Prior forklift experience is preferred.
