About The Position

Handler 4 is a full-time, nonexempt position in the Shipping department that reports to the Department Supervisor. The role supports the final stage between the factory and the customer by staging cabinets in the correct sequence and orientation, moving them safely, and helping maintain an orderly work area. The position works primarily in a manufacturing environment and requires following safety protocols and established work procedures.

Be able to prioritize multiple tasks and complete them on time.

Maintain high attention to detail and service results.
Frequently lift 30–60-pound boxes overhead and occasionally lift overhead and/or move boxes weighing at least 100 pounds.
Meet the stated physical demands, including frequent use of hands, reaching, speaking and hearing clearly, bending, lifting, standing, walking, climbing or balancing, and stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
Have close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Read cabinet labels and stage cabinets in the correct sequence by stop.
Learn to orient cabinets correctly in staging bays.
Safely use a hand truck or dolly to move cabinets to and from the conveyor or staging bays.
Keep the work area clean and organized, including sweeping floors daily to keep bays clean.
Use company procedures to resolve problems.
Assist the warehouse team and shipping supervisors as needed.
Follow safety guidelines and work process procedures.
