About The Position

Concentra is seeking a Hand Surgeon to provide specialist services on site as a 1099 independent contractor. The role is intended to complement the surgeon’s current practice, with a typical arrangement involving approximately a four-hour shift weekly or biweekly. Concentra Advanced Specialists help manage medically complex patients, expedite return to work, and support functional restoration. Working collaboratively with medical and therapy providers, the Hand Surgeon provides non-surgical and surgical care for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries, communicates with employers, and takes an active role in case management. Compensation is determined by a revenue-share model.

Requirements

• Meet the licensure requirements of the state of practice.
• Graduate from an accredited MD or DO program at an accredited university.
• Hold an unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction.
• Be board certified or board eligible in Hand Surgery.
• Maintain medical malpractice insurance that covers on-site work.
