About The Position

Concentra is seeking a Hand Surgeon to provide on-site specialist services as a 1099 independent contractor. The role is intended to complement the surgeon’s existing practice, typically involving approximately a four-hour shift on a weekly or biweekly basis. Scheduling is flexible, with consideration given to the contractor’s private practice.

Concentra Advanced Specialists help manage medically complex patients, expedite return to work, and support functional restoration. Working collaboratively with medical and therapy providers, the Hand Surgeon provides non-surgical and surgical specialist services for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries. The role also involves communicating with employers and taking an active part in case management. Compensation is determined through a revenue-share model.

Requirements

• Meet the licensure requirements of the state of practice.
• Graduate from an accredited MD or DO program at an accredited university.
• Hold an unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction.
• Be board certified or board eligible in Hand Surgery.
• Have medical malpractice insurance that provides coverage while on site.
