About The Position

Rizk Orthopedics is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Hand Orthopedic Surgeon to join its private practice in Jacksonville, Florida. This physician-led practice has three clinic locations across the Jacksonville metro area and offers a collaborative culture, significant professional autonomy, and the opportunity to build a long-term career. Surgeons have operating privileges at Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside, with flexibility to operate at other facilities and hospital locations throughout the area. The current team includes two physicians and two advanced practice providers. The role is open to new graduates and experienced surgeons. The position offers an initial one-year income guarantee followed by productivity-based compensation, a low-overhead structure, partnership potential with no buy-in, and opportunities for ancillary income and practice growth.

Requirements

• Physician MD or DO credential obtained before the hire date or job transfer date.
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
• Board eligible or board certified in Hand Orthopedic Surgery.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Life Support credential; American Heart Association or American Red Cross credentials are accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide hand orthopedic surgical care in a private-practice setting.
• Work a schedule of three clinic days and two operating-room days per week.
• Operate at Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside and, as appropriate, other facilities and hospitals in the Jacksonville area.
• Build referral relationships and pursue practice growth opportunities.
• Participate in general call and hand call if interested.
• Pursue workers' compensation and medical-legal opportunities if interested.
