About The Position

We are a manufacturer of audio and video infrastructure equipment for the television broadcast and film industry. This role involves ensuring correct installation of board parts, hand soldering/stuffing components, and installing electronic parts and hardware in frames or assemblies using various tools.

Requirements

• Grade 12 graduate.
• Minimum 3 years of hand soldering and assembly of PCB’s.
• Ability to communicate effectively ( written and verbal)
• Able to read drawing, values and correct polarity of PTH components
• General knowledge of Electronic components and manufacturing processes
• Experience working in a Production environment or working with similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the parts of the board are correctly installed, and in the right location on the board, as per the drawings provided
• Hand Solder/Stuff components in correct the location on the board.
• Install electronic parts and hardware in frames or assemblies using hand soldering, hand tools, and power tools
• Perform other tasks as required
