About The Position

The Production Manifestor must scale and manifest all combos/vats of product produced by cut and converting prior to leaving the floor.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret documents in the English language such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence as needed.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

• A high school diploma or GED preferred.
• One or more years’ experience in meat processing, or closely related industry is preferred.
• Spanish Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately scale all combos and/or vats of product.
• Ensure accurate manifest are completed.
• Oversee manifest weights and labels are correct.
• Organize green meats cooler.
• Hand Manifest all partials.
• Delete manifest of all product returned to the floor.
