About The Position

As a Manifestor, you will be responsible for ensuring all products have the correct Julian Dates and kill dates. This includes tracking raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods, and ensuring all finished products are correctly labeled with product codes. You will also need to verify labels, set stamps, and document export and kill date information for each load processed. Adherence to SSOPs, GMPs, and PPE guidelines is mandatory. This role requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and involves physical tasks such as lifting up to 75 pounds, standing or walking for the entire shift, and working in a wet, cold environment. It is crucial to understand and follow all procedures to ensure proper product handling and prevent contamination.

Requirements

Must be able to lift to 75 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
Must be able to stand and/or walk during the entire shift.
Must be able to work in a wet, cold environment.
Must be able to work independently with little supervision.

Responsibilities

Ensure all products have the proper Julian Dates and kill dates, referring to product specification sheets for details.
Track all raw or WIP products entering the production area and all finished products leaving the production area, recording accurate times.
Ensure all finished product has the correct label and product code, referencing product specification sheets.
Verify all labels needed during the shift are taken to the department.
Check Julian date and set stamps accordingly.
Check load being processed to properly document the export information.
Check load being processed to properly document the kill date information.
Check load being processed to properly document the water retention information.
Perform pallet certification stamping and verification by QA after load has been checked.
Document each pallet slip on the tracking form for recall purposes.
Follow all guidelines related to SSOP’s, GMP’s, PPE’s, etc.
Ensure product is handled properly and does not become contaminated or end up on the floor.
