About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you will work independently in assigned retail stores to showcase Hallmark products, manage inventory, and build relationships with store teams. You will maintain the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores and may occasionally work with products from other companies in the stores you service. The role includes day-to-day merchandising, seasonal holiday support, and department resets or installations. You will use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising tasks, communication, time reporting, feedback, and surveys. Paid training is provided through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training.

This position has a variable schedule during the work week and averages 2–10 hours per week. Additional days or extended hours may be needed around major holidays and seasonal changeovers. Some holiday work may include weekends or the holiday itself, and remodel assignments may involve evenings or weekends. Store assignments include grocery, drug, department, and mass retail stores.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Be able to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Be able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Have consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Be available to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
• Be available the week before and after major holidays; this may include weekends.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory in assigned stores, both within and outside the Hallmark department.
• Maintain the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores and optimize product placement in collaboration with local store teams.
• Use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for daily work, supervisor communication, time reporting, feedback, and required merchandising surveys.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Support seasonal demand with additional work and extended hours around major holidays, season changeovers, and related services.
• Participate in department installations and resets, including building and installing fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
• Support fellow merchandisers in other territories as needed.
