About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you work independently in assigned retail stores to present Hallmark products, maintain inventory, and build relationships with store teams. You are responsible for Hallmark product displays at your assigned stores and may occasionally work with other companies’ products. The role includes day-to-day merchandising, seasonal holiday support, and participation in department resets and installations. Hallmark provides paid training through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. The position averages 10–14 hours per week, with a variable work-week schedule and additional hours or days during seasonal periods.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Be able to frequently grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Have consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Be available to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory in and outside assigned departments.
• Maintain the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
• Use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising work, communication with a supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and completing required surveys.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Support seasonal demand with additional workdays or extended hours around major holidays.
• Participate in department resets and installations, including building or installing fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
• Support other merchandisers in their territories when needed.
