About The Position
We are currently looking for on-site US-based Haitian Creole interpreter. An on-site Haitian Creole interpreter will provide interpretation services in a variety of settings, including medical and educational, empowering individuals to advocate for themselves and their needs.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of interpretation experience.
- Proficient computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, email, electronic scheduling, and internet.
- Excellent written communication skills.

- Demonstrate willingness and ability to complete additional duties and assignments on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities
- Provide interpretation services in a variety of settings, including medical and educational.
- Empower individuals to advocate for themselves and their needs.
- Effectively interpret between Haitian Creole and English and vice versa.
- Adhere to guidelines for NCIHC Code of Ethics / Standards of Practice.
- Accurately complete assigned tasks/duties, projects, and paperwork promptly and within approved guidelines.
- Implement new and changing technologies.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, highly regulated environment.
- Complete additional duties and assignments on an ongoing basis.
- Work independently and within a team.
