About The Position
Back to Basics Learning Dynamics is seeking Creole interpreters to provide in-person interpretation for IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, mental health evaluations, and similar engagements in the Wilmington, Delaware area. There is an immediate need for Creole interpreters. Interpreters must be available during the daytime, but can set their own schedules. Mileage is paid. Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional interpreting experience, shown on the candidate’s resume; language proficiency alone does not satisfy this requirement.
- Willingness to undergo a background check, including Federal, State, and Child Abuse Registry checks.
- Reliable phone service for contact.
- Daytime availability.
Nice To Haves
- Documentation demonstrating proficiency in languages other than English is preferred; candidates without documentation might be asked to complete a proficiency test.
