About The Position

Join a locally owned Great Clips salon as a hands-on leader responsible for coaching and developing stylists, building a strong team culture, and helping the salon run effectively. The Salon Manager shares time between leadership and operational responsibilities and providing haircuts, with the balance depending on the salon’s needs. The role may suit an Assistant Manager or an experienced stylist ready to take on full salon leadership.

The salon is described as busy and located in Bedminster, New Jersey. Great Clips provides brand support, systems, technology, training, and a steady flow of customers. The franchisee, rather than Great Clips, Inc., is responsible for hiring and personnel matters.

Requirements

• A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License; requirements vary by state or province.
• Strong technical haircutting skills.
• Leadership ability or readiness to take on full salon responsibility.
• Excellent communication skills and an interest in motivating, developing, and supporting a team.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage day-to-day salon operations.
• Comfort with technology and salon tools, including scheduling systems, metrics, and reports.
• A goal-oriented mindset focused on team performance and customer experience.
• Adaptability and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
